Alright, here we go with my COVID-impacted Fall Bucket List of 10 Activities. Unlike in years past, there are no reoccurring festivals or social activities to look forward to this year due to, well, you know, so this list represents activities that we/I will have to work hard to make happen. But no pain, no gain, so it's all good. At least that's what I'm telling myself!
My 2020 Fall Bucket List . . .
- Visit a pumpkin patch with our granddaughters.
- Play my first 9-hole round of golf.
- Make pumpkin lasagna.
- Plan a delayed anniversary dinner at OC's favorite steakhouse, Bourbon Steak. Bonus: All dining is currently outdoors at the restaurant, and it's within walking distance of our home in case the celebration gets a little to, well, celebrated!
- Do a 60 bicycle ride to San Diego, stay overnight, return by train the next day.
- Hit my target weight of 125.
- Run six straight miles.
- Plan a game night with our daughter and her SO.
- Do a beach hike to Ruby's Shake Shack for a shared Pumpkin Milkshake. (We have a rule that all treats must be caloric-ly earned!)
- Finish this year's ocean-themed Christmas ornaments for family.

What about you? What's on your Fall Bucket List this year? Please share!
60 miles cycling at night - wow! That's quite a challenge I would think. Sounds like you will be super fit by the end of the bucket list, I'm exhausted just reading it!
ReplyDeleteWhy have you chosen an ocean theme for your Christmas ornaments? I'm intrigued!
Oops - No, not cycling at night! Cycling by day, staying in hotel overnight! (I fixed it to clarify, thank you!)
DeleteAnd the ocean themed ornaments are a nod to where we live. :-)
Great list and as usual very active!
ReplyDeleteBeing active gets me to my happy place each and every time. 😀
DeleteLove this list! Your retirement bucket lists look so much what I want my retirement to look like - inspiring! 125 was my goal weight for a long time, but now I'm working towards 135, which I think is more reasonable but still very healthy.
ReplyDeleteDo you have photos you'd be willing to share on the ocean themed ornaments?
And yes for cycling & running!
I try to keep pushing in my life, and though it can be hard at times, I hope to never stop. Yesterday we biked 40 miles, and when we finished I told my husband that the way I felt after completing the last mile was too good to ever live without.
DeleteI will definitely share photos of my ornaments soon! They are a Bucilla pattern kit.
